This policy explains what Caistrel collects and how it's used. It's a plain-language summary for the onboarding preview.
What we collect
Account details (your name, email, organization), the property, unit, owner, tenant, and lease records you add or upload, and basic usage data needed to operate and secure the service.
How we use it
To provide onboarding and the platform: extracting records from documents you upload, building your workspace, and keeping it secure. We do not sell your data.
Sharing
We share data only with service providers that help run Caistrel (for example, payment and email providers you connect), and only as needed to deliver the service or as required by law.
Text messaging (SMS)
If you opt in to text notifications, we use your mobile number solely to send the account notifications you agreed to (rent and payment confirmations, maintenance updates, application and lease status, and showing confirmations). Mobile phone numbers and SMS opt-in consent are never sold, and are not shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Reply STOP to any message to opt out, or HELP for help.
Security and retention
Passwords are stored only as salted hashes, and access is gated. We keep your data for as long as your account is active; you can request export or deletion.
